These are pictures of me and Ellie with Galena, the orphanage doctor. She really loved her and was so nice to us each time we were there. I could tell it was hard for her to say goodbye. Vlad told us as we were leaving that Galena was happy Ellie was going to a good home, and that Ellie was one of her favorites. She said Ellie is smart and she really enjoys smart children...it will be hard for me to stay a step ahead of her!

Ellie had a rough day today...she is teething something fierce! The doctor from the embassy came this morning to do her exam for her visa application and he said she was getting ready to cut molars. From the drooling and the runny nose and irritability I would say so! I felt so bad for her, we could tell she just didn't feel well this afternoon. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day for her. You know it is bad when our little adorable chunk didn't want to eat! I have to say I am earning my title of new mother...haven't showered yet today, I am covered in drool, snot, food and juice and I am beyond tired! I am off now to do some laundry and try to get a shower. More tomorrow!
