The pictures posted below say it all...Ellie fits right in here and seems to be very comfy in her new home. She is adjusting amazingly well, thank God! She is sleeping through the night, babbling constantly, and walking very well. So well, that I can barely keep up with her. She loves to feed herself...miss independent...she loves bathtime and she loves taking Spencer's toys and taunting him with them! She is an absolute delight! She epecially enjoys mimicking us. She knows how to do pat-a-cake, peek-a-boo, she dances to music and waves hello and good-bye...all this she learned in a little over a week. It just floors me when I think of all she has been through and how well she has adapted. I am still very tired, not sure when I will ever catch up on sleep, but it is okay, I am enjoying all of this so much! Jim loves to tickle her and she giggles and giggles. Her smile melts us both, especially him. She continues to allow me to soothe her more and more...and I am honored and humbled by her trust in me. When she is tired or frustrated she comes over and just puts her arms up asking in her way that I hold her. My arm muscles sure are getting a work out because she she enjoys being in them! I have to hold her a lot right now...we have to fill up her little tank, so to speak. I know sooner than later the time will come when she won't want me to hold her as much. So, I am enjoying every moment...

I will write more in the next week or two to let you know how she is doing, and of course, will post more pictures!
