Here are pictures of the apartment we are staying in. This room to the left is the room where the crib will go, Sasha is coming tomorrow to set it up for us. The room below is the bedroom where we sleep. There is also a living room, the kitchen and the views from our windows. Jim and I walked to Red Square and then to Arbat street this morning, it was a beautiful morning and we enjoyed the exercise! We stopped for lunch at a Scandanavian restaurant next to our apartment building. It was wonderful and the best part was the beautiful courtyard. We have been so blessed with great weather! We also stopped at a little flea market and bought some bing cherries...they are the best ones I have ever had! They must be grown around here somewhere. Last night we went to an outdoor cafe in the "posh" part of town and watched the people walk by. We have never seen so many women wearing high heels...I mean truly high heels! The kind that would kill most of us. We only saw one woman fall, which is amazing, and we think she had too much vodka, it really wasn't the shoes! There was a string trio playing on the street, they were very talented and played beautiful music. You have to give the Russian people a hand, they do love their classical music and ballet. In America the music on the street would have been rap, which is great, just not my cup of tea. So, we are off to dinner to celebrate getting our precious daughter tomorrow! They are picking us up at 2 and we have to do something for the passports, then go by the store to buy diapers and baby food and then we go get her!!! I can't wait!

I know that you won't sleep at all tonight! I am so excited for you. Love, Margaret
